18 Aug Kale, Chickpeas, and Stuff!
Yep, this is another recipe with chickpeas. Chickpeas can do so many things. This is a quick dish you can make with a few leaves of kale, chickpeas, onions, carrots and spices. Everything in it is nutritious and delectable. If you haven’t eaten or tried preparing a dish like this, give it shot! It’s not difficult at all.
1 cup of kale
1 cup of chickpeas (I like to prepare my own from scratch.)
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1/8 cup of red bell peppers, onions (optional)
1 tablespoon of sunflower seed spread (This is optional. I like to make this myself with a little garlic, cumin, etc. I’m happy to share this as well.)
Sea Salt to taste
Very lightly steam the kale (optional). Place the vegetables in a bowl. Add sunflower seed spread and mix all the ingredients. Salt to taste. Quick and easy!
